experience with goto.com - pay for clicks

I have been considering paying for clicks with goto.com - does anyone have any experience with them, or recommend something different?

I used to work for non-porn Net companies before going full time into the adult web biz. I used to buy GoTo placements and they do real well but are more expensive than second tier players [findwhat, 123search, etc etc].

From my experience with Goto, here's my advise--use MISSPELLINGS. They cost less and you'd be surprised at the volume of misspellings.
Using GoTo's search terms tools, find a set of related keywords that cost less or have less competition [the two go hand in hand].
Tons of lower cost but medium traffic keywords beats having to compete for a high traffic but high bidding keyword.

U sed to run a pretty serious GoTo campaign at some company...I forget the name...but the thing is, if you're smart and careful you can convert like 1:100 or so, but the thing is, they charge you for first click so you're really only converting like 1:300 or worse because a lot of people will click 'back' instead of through your tour. So as long as you're paying less that $30-$40 in clicks for a sale you're making a net gain, but a small one for the effort involved.

I played the "pay for" SEs, a year or so ago, now there's way to many people so the cost per hit has gone wayyyy up and it's really not worth it in most cases. If you have some real niche words you can still do allright.

I have some experience with goto and find that the traffic is marginal at best, add to that the no-consoles rule

I am going to try it for a couple more months, so far it is costing more than it is generating in revenue, it isn't worth 5 cents a click, to me

Goto has a $25 month minimum, so if you're going for those niche keywords that are not that popular, you have to spend $25 a month regardless.

Unfortunately, unless something has changed recently that I don't know about, the mis-spelling advice is old.. They have that "feature" that takes misspelled/typoed words and "corrects" them.. so

"amatuer blonde" is actually searched as "amateur blonde", and you get the 17c results, instead of the 5c.

That's the way it was recently, they may have changed it back, but I doubt it.

                  Cheers,
