What places in US do you suggest to visit?

What are your suggestions for places in US to visit?

I mean I want to finally take some time off in the summer and thought I would do it before a decent show such as Internext Florida.

What I am NOT looking for is a luxury tourist shit that is the same in the whole world, I want places with history, character and atmosphere.

I don't care if I will sleep in motels and wear my old bikers leather jacket, I want to feel like James Dean crusing the country.

Like I would want to check New Orleans or New York for some jazz n blues shit and LA to see some good rock stuff. I also wanted to see the Northwest like Seattle, might be a couple of smaller clubs worth a visit. Texas is another place I would like to see, not meaning Dallas, more like some smaller delta town..

What are the places you really enjoyed?

Travel back in time 30 to 50 years before we tore all of the shit with heart and soul, down, and put up Wal-Marts.

You can visit some Hot Topics, if you like. Oh, and Casinos. We have those in some states, too.

The Wild West and the US/Mexico border. Tombstone, Bisbee, Nogales in Arizona.
        Unvaxxed, still alive.

Haven't been since the flood, but New Orleans certainly ranked well beforehand... possibly my favorite place to visit. Enter Texas at your own risk.

If you're in New England, and dig on American History - stop by Boston.... maybe a day or two in D.C. (not really "Kerouac" territory, but lots of "history").

L.A.'s cool. If you liked Blues, stop by Cozy's. Wine Country, North of San Fran's kinda nice if you're with a significant other or really into wine.

          Portland is fun.

Tombstone is really cool, it is so remote it looks almost like it did during it's day.

Isn't that the fucking truth. It's fucking sad traveling across this country anymore.. It's like they set up pre build erector sets of the same fucking town at every interstate exit.

If you go to Texas the place you want is Austin. Lots of music and the coolest people in Texas.

Grand canyon to enjoy, Rocky mountains to ski, Hike the appilation trail... There are many things to do in this country that are great, but the stuff you see on tv is fake!

U2 has a movie called Rattle And Hum. There's a part that shows them visiting Elvis' house in Graceland. Fantastic.
