I had my family (well inlaws) here from Mexico City, and that movie had subtitles, so I put it on.. They're talking in the car or bus or whatever at the beggining, and my wife is telling me to turn it off.. It's not gonna go over well.. Turn.. It.. Off.. I was arguing like wtf grow up..
So I turned it off begrudgingly, and I watched it with my wife a few days later ourselves..
She was so right.. What the fuck was I thinking exactly? heh

I'd recommend seeing it just because of all the pop culture references made to the movie.
However, honestly, I didn't think it was all that great... I mean, it had its moments... and some people here will swear it's the funniest movie they've ever seen, I'm sure... but, overall... well, by the time the movie's end came around, I was already multitasking on 3 other things while watching it play.-D.

Exactly!! Including an entire scene of the movie dedicated to showing you pictures of dicks.
Put it this way.. if you've never seen it, and you're 16 years old, and you go to high school, and you're a boy, and you live in the suburbs, and you think looking at dicks is funny... you'll think this movie is hilarious.

WOW.. That say a lot right there. I think I prefer my humor with a bit more intelligence. The funniest line in Old School was when Vince Vaughn told that girl her gift was a piece of crap. Other than that.. Wil Feral is just not that funny anymore.

I dunno, Superbad reminded me so much of my years in High School, guess thats why I found it so funny.
I guess the rest of the peeps that didn't get it simply were too much part of the "cool crowd" (which I highly doubt) or too lost in their own little world to notice the fun things about growing up and being a senior.

Luckily I have only seen the ones that I get from the Academy. They try to send the best of the best. The funniest of the funny. Are the rest of them crap?
Anyway, what I meant was. I'd rather see a comedy SHOW like a standup or something along those lines than a bad comedy film.
And yes, I do like comedy films.. just not bad ones. But I guess we need those bad ones to remind us of how funny the funny ones are.
