nope, TV blows . . Best idea I ever had was to to dump the tube . . Try it sometome . . Say a week . . Play classical music and read a few books in yer spare time . . you'll be much happier and less frustrated with yerself . . more relaxed and focused on yer goals

i dont watch that much tv, i do read lots, but i will try it without it and i am sure i will like it.

I have no interest in TV/film, just like I have no interest hip hop, sushi, homosexuality or a host of other possible life styles. so I'm not really concerend about 'brain rot' . . and make no judgment calls . . . just have no interest . .

Think of it like this: TV is 6+ minutes of commercials per 1/2 hr or almost 13-14 minutes per hr (prolly 15+ by now) so that's 25% or more of the time you view telling you you're not good enough, no one will like you and you must have 'this or that' to be adequate as a person

. . Most TV writing is based on dishonesty or resentment, if I remember correctly, and I have no wish for either in my life . . . The acting level seems to have degenerated to 'yelling and arm waving' as opposed to acting but this is very well suited the level of script writing. . . .

I feel confident that with 500+ channels that the amount of product has vastly out grown the available 'talent pool' of creative individuals . .

Also consider the only point of TV is to make money from commercials . . Just like the only point of the 'news' is to make ratings, to make money from commercials . .

Even all the shows on the so called 'learning channels' are formulated and the producers determine the content . . The scientific community has reached an agreement that TV is not valid and only publishing's in a reputable 'scientific journal' will be considered valid . . So the scientific community by 'silent agreement' allows the producers to write the 'shows/segments' and validates the material of the shows/segments for $$$ . .
