Can you believe that such fantastic names could still be available to purchase for such reasonable prices?

    LocalLove.com $25,000.00
    ************** $40,000.00

Domain names may still be available to purchase.

Many great offers have been made, but . . . I'm holding on for the asking prices.

      I'm your fucking mentor dumbass.

wake up and smell the roses, the domains are shit, the longer you keep them the more money you waste on renewal.

they get zero type in traffic (and you know it) and .... well.... they're......um...uh... shit!

Ok, I'll just assume you are an idiot until proven otherwise. Still a chance you are a troll or a noob but that response leans towards idiot.

Decent domains, and I like your attitude.

The problem with your domain names is that only one of them gets a little bit of type in traffic....**************. Both are brandable but after dishing out 65k on the domain names it's going to be tough to have to throw another 50k-100k(or more) just to effectively brand the names. Because if you don't the letters ROI won't exist to you for at least 6 years.

With the exception of a few people on GFY you're not going to find anybody with 100k to throw around on a couple of OK domain names.

My advice to you is to let them go for 20k for the two.

A domain lesson learned by recent history:

One time, not so long ago, I offered a domain for sale on all the usual boards for $500. Nobody wanted it for $500. All of the usual domain buyers passed without a thought. I kept offering it and nobody expressed ANY interest.

So, I kept it and ended up pointing the domain name traffic to a sponsor. Over the next year I made over $3,000.00 just directly forwarding the traffic to the sponsor.

I offered it for sale again a year later and I had two quick offers and sold it for the sale price of $6,000.00

So, I tried to give it away at $500 and ended up getting more than $9,000.00.

In addition, the person who bought it appears to have cleverly increased the traffic exponentially and probably wouldn?t sell that name for a good deal more than 10 times what they paid not so long ago.

                                        Domain names are amazing!

Lesson to be learned: Think twice before passing up my domain name Sales!

                                        thank you
That should be all the more reason why you should be pointing the domains now to affiliate landing pages matching the domain niches.

Actually, its the opposite, I could somehow see ************** maybe fetching close to the asking price, but locallove.com is way overvalued. ************** gets a few typeins and is easily brandable, whereas, locallove.com gets almost no typeins and would not be the best domain to brand with the double L's in the middle.

First I must say that I worked very, very hard on the ************** design . . . and I love Laetitia Casta! So, that logo design is a keeper!

I sort of see your point with the LocalLove.com logo design.

I talked to my attorneys today about the LocalLove.com design and they did agree with you.

Since it does look similar to Local.com, I've come up with a brand new design for LocalLove.com.

I ended up putting together an entire site (below is a screen shot).

Let me know if you like this one!

Mr. Cash . . . or, can I call you Lazy?

You certainly know what you are talking about. I can tell you have "the knowledge!"

I do, however, disagree with your skepticism on the branding of LocalLove.com. How could anybody think it was Loca Love or Local ove??? That doesn't make any sense. Sure two L's together isn't pristine, but it is clearly two words that everyone knows how to spell. If you doubt me, just verbally ask people you run into (throughout the day) to spell, "LocalLove.com" and see what they say.

I bet they ALL will hear and spell two distinct words: Local Love . com.

Well, I guess I should try it myself before trying to make a point by asking you to do it.

Thank you my very young friend, "Young"!

I see exactly what you are saying and I agree with your advice (in general) . . . however, I have already received (and rejected) offers which far exceed your recommended selling price for these domains.

There is a pretty wide range of justifiable selling/buying prices for these names. Your opinion is certainly reasonable. Had I not already had such a great response to my offer to sell . . . I would definitly consider your sell price a perfectly acceptable opinion.

At this point I have gone far beyond that sale price, and I am hoping to find those who can justify investing what I am asking.

I do thank you for your opinion on this matter! It is nice to have smart people chime in here. Thank you again my youthful and intelligent Young!

Sure, with the right buyer, it would make an excellent dating portal centered around customized geo scripting. My point was simply that I felt there was a much wider variance in valuation of the domains then the prices offered. I can pay 25k for locallove.com or go buy locallover.com for $500.

I have also received very significant offers for LocalLove.com. This is because there is a HUGE difference between "locallove" and locallover" for branding. There would be all sorts of issues with locallover. Because of the interest in LocalLove.com, there is no reason for me to sell for less than my asking price at this time.

So, I wasn't being sarcastic. I did enjoy (and respect) your post. I do hope you get the prices you are asking as I have always felt domains are worth what somebody else is willing to pay for them. Since you haven't been able to sell them over the last 1.5 years, I guess that tells me something about the difference in what you think they are worth and everyone else. If you continue your pattern, somebody will offer you 40k for ************** and you'll counter with 45k and it won't sell. Yes, I post sarcastic responses to the idiots and haters.

                                                        I cannot deny that.

The problem is that I didn't intend to be "sarcastic" with you (or Young). But, looking back I see how you might have read it as sarcasm. I was mixing "goofy" with my response which was sincere. Again, I am sorry for the confusion.

Well, just ask any normal person about "LocalLover.com" vs. "LocalLove.com." I would imagine that you could tell without having to ask, but hell you asked.

Your last point is also true . . . as the domain market shifts, so does the asking price for my domain names. All of them. I am not going to sell my domain names for the same price I was willing to sell them a year and a half ago. Shit dude, this should be obvious. Just like the prices I have posted here might not be good 6 months from now or 3 years from now. Who knows what value these names will have by then?

Most people don't see opportunities when they are presented. How many people in the world could have registered "sex.com" when it was available??? How many people could have purchased "men.com" for $15,000? How many people could have registered "LocalLove.com" for the registration fee???

The answers to these questions is . . . EVERYONE! But guess what? Not everybody was interested at the time.

It is the person who can see where things are going who can make moves today that seem (to the average person) to be not reasonable. Then, years later those "average people" will state that the people who took the chance on domain names were just LUCKY.

                                                        HINT #1 : IT AIN'T LUCK!!!

If you want to get a hyper-bargain on a domain name purchase, you will need to find someone with brain damage. Otherwise you will have to take a chance. Just educate yourself to minimize the failure rate of the chances you take.

My point wasn't whether locallove.com was better, just whether it was 25k to 500 better. I'm well versed in the domain market and understand the appreciation potential. However, you've posted a dozen threads trying to sell these domains over the last 1.5 years and obviously you've never had anyone meet your asking price. So either you are always pricing yourself out of the sale or you've never been serious about selling them.

Also, just because someone questions why you place a certain value on a domain doesn't mean they are a hater. You haven't stated any type in amounts and haven't made any notable arguments to back up their value. You'd have a better shot at getting your asking price if you were able to put together a much more convincing presentation.

The haters are obvious. So are most of the idiots.

Second, I am making these names available for sale. I have received offers for these names throughout the time I have owned them. As the domain market explodes, so do the offers for these names.

The problem is that most people want to get a super BARGAIN when they buy a domain name.

I am looking for someone who wants to make an investment.

What sort of presentation should I make?

The names speak for themselves. Traffic numbers are (and have been) given to all who need to know. That is all there is to a domain name.

Laetitia Casta makes me sweat . . . hard!

                                                                        Please, let me repeat:

". . . as the domain market shifts, so does the asking price for my domain names.

It is the person who can see where things are going who can make moves today, that seem (to the average person) to be not reasonable. Then, years later all of the "average people" will state that the people who took the chance on domain names were just LUCKY.

                                                                        HINT #1 : IT AIN'T LUCK!!!

If you want to get a hyper-bargain on a domain name purchase, you will need to find someone with brain damage. Otherwise you will have to take a chance. Just educate yourself to minimize the failure rate of the chances you take."

Makes me chuckle thinking of them being in such pain.
