    FREE TRIALS ??

    Does anybody offer FREE trials, and if you do can you recommend us a good processor that will do free trails ...

    We are working on a project that we want to offer the first 3 days free and then recurring at regular rates ... and would rather outsource the processing (and customer service) if we could ?

      I think you need your own merchant account, to do free trials in this day and age...

          If I'm not mistaken. I believe ccbill offers free trials.

              Yeah ... I know we can with our own merchant account wizzo, I was just curious if there were still processors doing the free trial, and how reliable they are ?? Can they handle like 150+ signups a day without going to hell in a handbasket ... we tried PSW before with not free trial though .. but their servers couldn't handle our signups

                  We can do it, I'm going to charge you two points over whatever your normal rate would be and if you don't have something I've never seen before don't expect more than a 35-40% keep rate off those trials. Just a warning there -- I've got the rest of the numbers on what they do if you want them.

                  And yes, 150+ a day is fine too -- you might want to drop me an email and let's talk about it if you are seriously interested

                      I already have an account manager at CCBILL, but wasn't aware that you guys still did "free trials"...

                      Honestly .. I'd just as well not do free trials, but my partners are the ones wanting to do it ... we are still debating the pros and cons at the moment ... but will definately make note of this info ... thanks again

                          Kimmy Kim, what is the average chargeback ratio for your free signup webmasters? It's gotta be sky high. How much you charging per chargeback, and are you passing on the visa and mastercard fines to the merchant? You can scrub to the cows come home, but there is no way with free signups you can keep the chargebacks below 2.5% for visa and 1% for mastercard. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm actually very interested in what your offering, and I think I'm asking the right questions here for myself and anyone else who is interested in doing free trials. Free signups were a major reason for the death of DMR. Let us know, thanks.
