Nice one, I may have a look at it. I"m a big Ruger Fan. I have the P-90 .45, and I really like the long trigger pull. The damn thing is built like a boat anchor and I've never had a feed or eject stoppage in god knows how many rounds.
Also, the person that wrote this article mentioned the comfortable recoil on the gun.... I totally agree with that when it comes to Rugers.
As for that Teodora, the reason that guns were prohibited in Hungary was so that your Soviet Overlords could keep control of you for 50 years. You can keep your gun laws!good that keeping a gun is prohibited here in Hungary!

I'd recommend the P229. You can swap the barrels out and shoot 9mm, .40 S&W and .357 SIG with the same frame. Gives you some options for the future if you like.

I thought dropping a grand on a .45 was kinda silly......That Ed Brown probably cost you 3+ times that....And you know what? Dead on accurate is dead on accurate.
You are one of the few people around here who I would love to shoot against. I'd still beat you but at least it would be a good match up.

You can tell who knows guns and who doesn't based on if they buy shit or quality. Make no mistake about it....Pimpdogg can afford quality but somebody sold him shit because he didn't know any better.Originally posted by czarinaShould have gotten a Sig or an H and K.Comment

I don't doubt you'll beat me nowadays, I've stopped target shooting and went to tactical doing alot of IDPA. Thinking doing real comps one day.
REf the Kimber, I own a few myself, I was semi trolling. Once you get past the 1000.00 dollar mark on .45's, you get the same performance, just paying for the little details and upgrades.

Ruger wheel guns are OK but their semi-autos suck ass. I've owned them in the past and sold them off because they were not dependable or accurate....With the exception of my Mark II.Comment

There was a shooting event last year in Vegas. It proved that 97 out of 100 webmasters can't shoot for shit.
It was fun yet very very sad at the same time.Comment

1911A1 is single action. Even without that safety on, it's a safe gun to leave cocked.Originally posted by comeplaydo you always leave your guns cocked when fooling around with them?
I don't advise on it, but it's just leaning up, not in anyone's hand, holster, etc.
Never gonna go off like that.

I did very poorly with them hitting IDPA at 40 feet.Originally posted by smacki just picked up an ultra carry II a couple weeks ago. i fucking love this gun. comfortable to carry and shoots incredibly accurately.

But anything within 25 feet, and it's dead. One of my favorite guns to carry. When I'm not carrying a polymer.

Anybody here shoot IPSC/USPSA at all? I just started going to the weekly local matches and they're quite the blast.
I considered myself a pretty damned good shot until I started going to the meets! It's amazing how hard these targets are to hit accurately when you're on the move

Nope. Spent some time in a Tac room many years back. That was pretty cool but I've never competed. Thought about it a bit though.....Maybe someday.Comment
