Watcher Please Read I Got Virus From You

Watcher about 5 mins ago I got That email I sent to all my webmasters today replied back to me from you. Well it had attached to it another Virus.. My Nortons did all that Red warning shit...LOL I've seen that like 50 times this week. After Quaranteening and deleting it, this is the message I got from Nortons;

This file: "news_doc.scr" was infected with the: "W32.Badtrans.13312@mm" virus.
The file was quarantined by Norton AntiVirus. Tuesday, July 31, 2001 03:32

Now I know it's not really from you, I'am telling you because I believe you may have the Live Virus on your system... I'am no virus expert, (but the past 3 weeks I feel Like one) But Bro I think you need to update your Virus protection and do a complete scan...

This is Watcher's roomate. He's having problems with viruses and outlook. He'll probally be spending the day backing up data and re-formating.

You should see his outbox...over 4000 emails waiting to be sent... FYI we are working on it...and I apologize if you have recieved mail from him

We've tried un-installing Office, Norton (didn't find anything)...it's persistant to say the least.

Badtrans is a nasty virus, my girlfriend got it but we got rid of it before she rebooted the computer. I start spreading after the first reboot and then its everywhere.
Its purpose is to make ALOT of damage.

People writing viri are goddamn geniuses. Taking advantage of normal people's lack of intelligence and using certain exploits just makes me wanna get into this stuff more.

Remember, if there weren't that many dumbos out there who willingly open any shit they get, there wouldn't be any virus threats - cuz they wouldn't spread.

Well i tried a removal program a friend sent me it didnt clean out the majority of the virus. But it still remains in the most used part of my computer =o(

So go to http://www.symantec.com and get in to their virus area, run their scan from their system online. Then download a new copy of their repair files and fix it.
