c) If a person goes through the trouble (and stupidity) of using a pop stars name for a porn site, do you really think he will put adult content in his meta tags. Or, if the page is all graphic images, adult filtering software simply does not work.

No one said filtering software was foolproof. Nothing is foolproof. But the software does filter out a large portion of the adult content.
Parents can still install the software and block a large portion of the adult content and they can still monitor their kids. I wonder how many do...
