A couple of times now major programs have been confronted with the illegal use of copyrighted material on tube sites. Each time threads were closed, posters banned.

Looks like more than dishonest. One of the biggest scumbags and content thieves was exposed with undeniable proofs of his practices. Banning of those who spoke up to warn other webmasters and deleting of said threads only confirms the deal. Favoritism and support of content thieves are undeniable. I suppose I'm next to get banned. Which is OK. Afterall, we're talking about supporters of content thief.

If the industry is destroyed they will suffer too obviously.
I imagine already the list of people wanting to skin the board or buy advertisements is decreasing. Less affiliates in the business, programs with less money to throw around, etc. all this happens because of increased conversions. Revenue starts to dry up. Before you know it, no one is left. No one visits the board except for 100 program reps competing for the odd webmaster who somehow wonders in. (GFY circa 2010???)

true, this board is what it is because of members who post a lot. If a solid base of contributing posters leaves elsewhere, the board will be worth shit. I'm sure many forum owners would welcome active posters with open arms.If the industry is destroyed they will suffer too obviously.

This board used to be good for exposing scumbags and often meant that scumbag of any proportions had to eventually come forth and set things straight. But what happens when board admin's themselves end up being exposed for supporting content thieves? Answer is simple - "violators" will be silenced (banned) and threads deleted.
