right now i am busy learning just about everything that i can on any topic that comes up concerning the computer industry. i have only been doing this for a 2 years. i am a baker by trade right now. i custom build home computers and am currently learning about wireless. i am going to install a wireless system in my home. as for the web hosting, i am just learning about it. i ended up at this site through anothere one and discovered a whole bunch of intelligent life here behind the name. bear with me if i get a little dumb sometimes.canadians do it with

Yeah! Go for UNIX!
Offer FreeBSD packages, or a linux distro packages. Recommended linux distro would be Slackware or Debian, Debian is awesome when upgrading and installing new software. Their package system is genious. When you want to update something, eg. Apache, you can type :
APT-GET INSTALL <apachepackage>
It rocks.. And all the software you need is FREE. Apache, MySQL, PHP, qmail/sendmail (i would recommend qmail), etcetc.
Let me know how it works out.
NB: You will find working on a unix computer very difficult in the beginning, if you are used to working on a Windows system.. But don't give up, you will make it in the end!Comment

Hello, I'm Elisha aka Mrs. Tanker. I am not a webmaster and I know how to turn a computer on(and my husband). I have three years of college majoring in just about anything and I have two small children. What I do now is proofread Tanker's work and make sure that the chicks he uses aren't nasty.
