Except that there are a growing number of high-profile physicists and civil engineers that have written papers PROVING that jet fuel fires could never have brought down WTC 1 and 2. And that is not even mentioning WTC 7 which was NOT hit by ANYTHING and yet collapsed in exactly the same way as the twin towers. And considering that in the previous 100 years not a single skyscraper has EVER collapsed due to fire and yet three such collapses happened on 911, certainly begs further investigation.

Good point. The masses are lulled by the elite-controlled media to believe that evil is always in some foreign land. What they fail to see is that evil is in our very own back yard and that it can be as great or greater an evil than exists anywhere.

I never said you couldn't find an engineer or physcicist that didn't subscribe to these conspiracy theories. And, I don't question their academic qualifications...but I'd start a critique of their credibility with a look at their voting records.

Fair enough. But I think what the vast majority of people fail to realize is that EVERYONE is a conspiracy theorist whether they realize it or not. The story put forth by the government and pushed by the media without any investigative scrutiny IS A CONSPIRACY THEORY:

Do you realize that since 911 neither the government nor the mainstream media has offered ANY PROOF whatsoever that the above conspiracy theory is factual? In fact just about everything they have put forth as "evidence" has later been proven to be bogus. It's the Weapons of Mass Distruction fiasco (remeber that?) multiplied by a million.

The choice is between conspiracy THEORY and conspiracy FACT. The government and media have put forth a THEORY and the masses have swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

On the other hand, a growing army of researchers have put forth conspiracy FACT, and back up their research with proof by hanging the government with their very own words and sworn statements.

Whether you realize it or not, you are already a conspiracy theorist.

Oh please....even the New York times routinely publishes retractions over erroneous pieces of information within articles. The example you give is actually an example of good journalism - correcting a factual error with an article as soon as the author is made aware of the problem. Bad journalism is never printing a retraction (of which many mainstream sources are guilty of in spades).

This site which you sarcastically dismiss as a "nice source" is run by Professor Michel Chossudovsky, a highly respected economic authority who has been hired by various governments at the highest levels. After spending years reading the New York Times and other papers, I can tell you that Globalresearch publishes some of the most impeccably researched material ANYWHERE on the net or in print.

When i said "dent" i meant in comparison to the complete destruction of 3 seperate building with 100's of times the mass of the pentagon. But of course you understood that , but couldn't actually come up with a "real" counterpoint but instead decided to focus on the precise meaning of the word "dent' like that had anything to do with the topic.. the point was the difference in destruction.. not the terms used to describe it.. , but of course you already knew that but wanted to be a "smartass"

in comparison it would be like a semi truck loaded with titanium bricks hitting your house , and leaving a neat little 2 ft hole on the other side of your house and then vanishing into thin air..

9/11 conspiracy theorists should send a fruit basket to the families of the dead hijackers - for providing them with the perfect scenario on which to hang a conspiracy theory.

The destruction was so intense and complete that it left very little solid evidence on which to oppose a conspiracy theory. So the tinfoil hat crowd can gleefully spin almost every detail in whatever fashion they see fit from the comfy confines of their local coffeeshop, net cafe or home computer. They can quote dubious sources that offer unscientific evidence that supports their theories until the cows come home.

Heaven forbid that someone oppose their conspiracy theory, though. They'll instantly be labeled brainwashed sheep unable to think for themselves...pawns of the 'big bad establishment'. Better to make opponents retreat in silence in case they raise points that the conspiracy folks can't defend against.

Just like Cheney provided comedians like Leno and Letterman enough gag material with the recent lawyer shooting, 9/11 will remain the golden goose for conspiracy theorists around the world.

One thing that always makes me wonder, though.

Much of their case is based on photographic and video evidence. Yet when someone points to photographic evidence that pokes holes in their theory, its labeled as "fake" or altered.

Fruit basket time. Conspiracy theorists - pay hommage to your original source of entertainment.

You don't even hear this on the news.
