I've seen discussions before about cookies. People want them set longer but how long is long enough? How long is too long?

I don't get the big vs small affiliate arguements... The cookie will be overwritten once the surfer visits trough another affiliate. Those cookies are just for type in tarffic and imho the last reffering webmaster is the one that convienced the surfer to join. So the longer the better.Comment

Affiliate cookies should NEVER expire, all sponsors should do that, thanks for bringing up this issue I should go through all of my current sponsors and kick the ones out that dont set cookies for forever
