    Movie Dollars or AEBN?

    Have any of you used both and compared their performance?

    I've always used Movie Dollars but was considering testing AEBN on a couple of new niche blogs I'm launching.

      Both are excellent sponsors but we all know which one I will recommend. AEBN has the highest bit rate and the largest amount of movies.

          I've used both almost side by side for years. Ratios are a tricky thing because with AEBN I use a custom theater product that doesn't track in the clicks while the link I use for Hotmovies custom theater does.

          The links I use are primarily located in my jump station, HotMovies right above AEBN.

          What I can tell you is this..

          AEBN I've advertised since Jan 2003. MovieDollars since May 2005. Not sure how to compare their stats, but for AEBN I've shown just shy of 18,000 members to date. MovieDollars shows just over 15,000 'sales'. I know for MovieDollars I get 25% of total sales lifetime. AEBN is 20% lifetime If I average out the total sales per month over the lifetime of my advertising I've done 65% more income per month with AEBN than with MovieDollars.

                          Your stats stop in August 2006... how much are you doing a month now and how many total members do you have?

                          I've just cracked 1000 members and I'm doing about $400-$450 a month.

                                                      I would not use AEBN because they let PureTNA.com whitelabel them. And for those who don't know, PureTNA is a gigantic torrent site with more stolen content than you can imagine.

At first he was making more money with AEBN but after talking with him at the past Internext he told me that he is making almost the same amount with each program, with Moviedollars bringing him in slightly more. Hell two paychecks is better than one whether your a content provider or webmaster

                                                                      I've been using Movie Dollars on a few of my larger blogs. I'll probably continue to run you guys there, but I'm just looking at whether it may be worth it to add something else to the mix.

                                                                                          I feel that AEBN is a lot better choice in that they have way more traffic, a better selection of movies, more marketing tools and a very responsive staff.
