IIRC, the off road diesel has more sulfur - or at least did. Maybe they lowered it there too.
Owning a diesel used to be such a $$$ saver. They are coming out with a Cherokee diesel and I've actually thought about getting one when my lease is up next year, but now I'm not so convinced.
I also remember you could always tell a diesel by how dirty it was around the exhaust pipe.
