Sadly a huge portion of Americans do. To the point where celeb talk often shadows politics, world events, genocide etc.

It's stupid but unfortunately it's what they have to do in order to compete with all of the other cable networks.

If nobody watched the celebrity gossip shows or jerry springer or all that other shit, it wouldn't be on the air.

I still think they're a hell of a lot better than cnn or faux news
