i do believe that according to the FDA, it is a narcotic... and incredibly in the same classification as cocaine and heroin! class 1
that is technically speaking, realistically it should not be considered anything close to a narcotic. it is more of an intoxicant
either way, weed is not really harmful except to maybe the lungs and throats unless you are using a vaoprizor
