Hardcore blog looking for hardlinks

The trick is that your script doesn't create hard links.

It produces code like

So any trading script that searches your page for a plain vanilla URL back to a site won't find it.

Yeah I figured it out I think. Its exactly what you said.

What I thought about doing is adding the links with autolinks, wait the 5 minutes until they post on the site and then just blogging the links in a post. then delete the post. Its not cheating because the links are there... Have not tried it yet, but I think it should work.

If someone expects a permanent hardlink and you only give them a hardlink on your site for a few minutes, that would be cheating.

no..

no no no... I would put the hard link on the side, it would apear just like it does in anyblog. It would only be in a post for a couple minutes so the scripts that everyone uses could see it because of the php include. In the meantime it would still be under the "our friends" on the right colum, make sense?

I dont think i'm going to use autolinks for the hardlinks anyway, it defeats the purpose as far as se's go I think. It would benefit me just fine, but not the others that I trade with, and that is not what i'm about. It should be 50/50

I think what you keep missing is that the links created by autolinks script are not hardlinks. They might be permanent, but they are not hardlinks.
That is the reason why the checking scripts don't "see" them. It isn't because they are put into the HTML by a PHP include, the problem is the format of the URL created.

If you think I'm wrong, so be it. I'm just trying to save you trouble later.

If your going to be trading hardlinks with other sites, autolinks is definitely not the way to go. A hardlink is exactly what it says it is "A Hardlink" usually put in manually somewhere on your site.
