i get asked by girls all the time when i'm at the bar.
i like being asked especially if the girl is really hot and we're in the smoke pit where everybody can hear us. my response is mean, and it's always funny too. especially if shes hot, the look on her face is priceless when i turn her down infront of everybody.. it's weird though, even though i'll be a complete dick and embarress her infront a crowd of people -- btw, i really wanna laugh while doing it, but i just try to play it cool -- at the end of the whole thing, the girl will like me better cuz i dissed her.

type 1) the people who have shitty lives and need to escape reality. these are the kind that get really drunk and act like an idiot. feel like shit the next day and get scared of finding out what kinda damage they did against their friendships and relationships...

type 2) the kind that have a beer or two and just go out to chill with friends and maybe meet a few pretty girls.

I have been asked a number of times at one club I used to go to. But no, I do not buy them. I am not rude about it, I just decline.

I am not "drink maaaaaaaaaaaaaan" from the comedy central skit.

Plus most of those asking for you to buy them a drink are not interested, or going to give you the number. Which pretty much negates the whole rationale.

Ok, there was a thread on here about a week ago about some dude who lost his domain via registerfly because he didn't renew in time. I along with loads of other peopel took he piss out of him but now i'm having the same problems..

This is basically what has happened so far:
13th March: I revieve an email from registerfly mentioning that my domain will expire on the 22nd March, I click the link in the email and renew then domain.

I recieve an email from refisterfly:

RegisterFly.com, Inc. has received a request from Domain Services [[email protected]] on Sunday, Mar 12, 2006 for us to become the new registrar of record, for site.com

I also recieve a second email:

The following Renewal/Transfer request was made by Mr Smith

OrderId :000000
UserId :userID
Domain :site.com

I then think nothing of it until today 19th March when I recieve an email that says:

Your domain transfer order for [site.com] was cancelled. We have refunded your
Registerfly.com Quick Checkout account [userID] in the amount of $8.99
Your Available Balance is now: $8.99

By this stage I am starting to get a little worried but I decide to go to registerfly and re register manually. Whilst checking out my account I notice that the $8.99 hasn't been credited to my account.
Anyway, I go to renew domain and click register. The site doesn't ask any details, eg credit card details it just comes up with a page that says registration/ renew in process.
I get another couple of emails and decide to cancel the order because it just doesn't feel right. I click renew again and this time it asks for my cc details...

Just today, I have recieved 8 automated emails from registerfly and one I think was from a real person in reply to a support request I filled in, this is what he said.

Hello,

Renew/Transfer request for this domain site.com is in under process.

With our new renewal / transfer process it takes a bit longer than normal renewal process. Your domains will be renewed and transferred to registerfly new system before they expire.

ICANN Accredited Registrar

Within 20 minutes I have recieved another email that says:

I don't know what to do, I don't want to lose this domain..

One other thing, when I checked the whois info after I had attempted to renew the first time. The technical support was listed down as registerfly.

Can I move this to namecheap? How and will it go through by the 22nd?

Will never do it myself. I got a friend that always does like a moron, girl asks him and he buys her a drink and as soon as he gives it to her she says thanks and walks off never to be seen for the rest of the night. I always try to tell him not to but he never listens.

strippers are different... i buy strippers drinks before/after a dance and tip 'em as well. they're just doing their job and are there for my entertainment. Only girl I ever bought a drink for at a bar was a friend of mine who i went out with who i havnt seen in years when she came up from university for a weekend. Even then it was a fight to pick up the tab lol
