I am talking with a friend the other day about random violence. I guess I was naive, never being a victim of anything.
Then it happens to me. I am walking back to my car after a night of being out with two friends. There is a group of 5 guys and a girl behind us, couple black guys and 3 spanish guys. They kept trying to provoke my one friend that was super drunk. I did the whole separate everybody type thing and told them "look my friend is really drunk, he didnt do anything etc etc" They lay off a little bit but still follow closely.
Then the girl in their group comes up right beside us and is like "holy shit, these guys just said they hate N*ggers" which was completely not even true, I was sending a text message on my phone and my other friends were talking about a girl they know. We turn around and crack, the fists start flying. Naturally they attack my really drunk friend first, he takes 2 solid punches in the face before I pull him away and down to the ground to get him away from the punches. As i am doing that I was attacked by two of the guys, one nailing me in the left jaw and another in the back of the head. Which I gotta say, surprisingly did not hurt at all till the next morning, and I gotta call these guys pussies for the sheer fact that they got 2 free punches on me that I did not even know were coming and it didnt do shit.
My one friend is laying on the ground, bleeding but fine, my other friend i lost sight of. I look around and 2 of the attackers see I am still standing (the others ran off like cowards) These guys start running at me screaming "we are gonna kill you whiteboy" I am still perplexed at this whole situation. So I jumped over a railing into a patio bar, which is ironic because the bouncers thought I was trying to jump the bar and roughed me up.
I am still kind of pissed about the whole situation, this came out of nowhere and on Valentines day of all nights. The thing that shocks me the most is HOW FAST, shit like this goes down. Even if you had a gun or a knife or anything, I think without the proper training, you would not even have a chance to use it.
