Outside of the fact that he really should of had protective eye wear on the kid, dont see a huge problem with that. Dad by the looks could be a cop or military or ex military. Maybe a year or 3 too young to be doing it, but other than that, doesnt worry me much.Comment

oh god... you know I was shooting guns at that age and I am very very safe with guns at my age now....
my son is 3 although I have not taken him to shoot anything as far as live fire go's as of yet.. I will shortly.. 5 is the age if you ask me.. but he is the parent and was in control the whole time... as far as I see it there was no danger at all.. if you ask me there is more danger handing your 8 year old the BB gun with your hands NOT being on the gun ....

I got my first bb gun at 8....fired my first .22 at 10. Didn't fire a higher caliber weapon until at least my teens.
Of course all of my guns came with a very long/months long training courses.
Its good to teach children about guns from a young age. Teach them to respect them as tools, not toys. Just like the oven, don't touch it.
But thats fucking ridiculous that parent should be ashamed. If a shell had exploded in the chamber, the smallest piece of shrapnel could have penetrated (his still soft) skull.Comment

You can use them to shoot bullets at old cars, rocks or empty beer cans but that does not alter their purpose for being designed and manufactured. They are designed to kill people. They were not designed for hunting animals, but for shooting and killing people.

although handguns may be used as sport today.. when they were OG they were made as a means to carry something a shitload lighter than a fucking cannon and a boatload stronger than an arrow and something that can reach out farther than a sword and something that is smaller and shorter than the then great long guns that were shooting up the battlefields .....

I remember shooting .22's in the basement of the IBM country club when I was a child. I have some medals somewhere in a box. It was fun for us kids, 3 of my brothers and I and a few girls from a family we were good friends with back then. Parents would enjoy golf or dinner while we had our shooting classes.
Not something I pursued past the age of 12 or so though.
That child in the video seems way too young to me though for anything but learning to walk and get the food onto his spoon and into his mouth. 9 or 10 years old would be about right I think, depending on where you live.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.
