Are you going by first page raw and unique?
Also, are you ONLY using sponsors free content (might have been viewed alot on tgps already?) or are you buying content?

If you're talking about the galleries, I'm counting raw. So the CTR is a little bigger actually.

I'm ONLY using sponsors free content, this is to make sure that I really test the results a sponsor would get from a regular affiliate. It wouldn't make sense to use a kick ass, exclusive, bought content and then post the stats.

I meant the sponsor clicks being first page raw & uniques. I am not signed up with many sponsors so I just dont know if thats first or second or however

On the content point, if you tried a sponsor with 10k affiliates and their free content, compared to a sponsor with 1000 affiliates and their free content, dont you think that'd skew it as well?

I'm just asking because I like the idea, just unsure how it would affect my own decisions.

I'll ALWAYS post first page stats, as you can see the screen cap shows the conversion for FIRST PAGE UNIQUES, but you can also see on my site the ratio for FIRST PAGE RAW.

I do understand that, but I have to follow these rules to make sure that if you decie to signup for one sponsor that we are testing, and you used their free content, you'd get pretty much the same conversions as we got. If I used my own content there's no way a normal affiliate could compare his results to mine.

Even if you decided to use your own content instead of sponsor content, you'd have our stats to compare and see if you're better off with the content you're using or their content.

Uhmm... They are pretty basic without much graphics.

I like to build them to be SE friendly with lot's of texts, so I know that I'll get at least some SE traffic to them in the future.

But I liked your idea.

AmateurWealth will ALWAYS provide 1st page RAW and Unique...i don't try to fluff the numbers by join page ratios...that does not make any sense to me...

That's one thing that I really like about you guys, I know that you're counting my clicks correctly.

I'm sure most serious webmasters know when the sponsor is "shaving clicks".

Why make sponsors aware of your little test? IMO, it should be kept on the DL until the results are final. They know which account is yours, what's to stop them from skewing the results in your favor to gain attention?

They don't know which account I'mn sending traffic to them.

It's not the same one I use for referrals for example.

CTR 3% is not THAT bad....Of course some ppl do 10%, but I would say 5% is the average
