But its true, what can you do with bookmarkers? Nuffin, waste of BW.

If you run a TGP and hope to ever grow you need bookmarkers. It's called a traffic base. They aren't gonna buy anything so you use them to feed your trades.

Get as many Bookmarks as you can! Ask The Hun or World Sex if bookmarks have value.

you can trade your bookmarkers and their visit (hit) can be traded again on the next day if they revisit.

other than that.. i donno what else u can do with bookmarkers.. cause they all freeloaders!

Trust me, bookmarkers convert just as well... If they keep cummin back, and if they ever want more they will more than likly bring out the credit card for a site they trust and frequent often.

I used to have 40k bookmarkers a day. Now I have only about 8k cause my content sucks and Ive been jerkling surfers around.

My layout of my page is the same, and for a while my traffic volume was the same.

Having 40k in bookmarkers really reflected the quality of my site. Quality converted to signups and signups made me $$.

Since loosing my bookmarks my signups have gone in the toilet.

Quality Quality Quality is the answer.
Anyone can fuck people around with a trade script or trade with exit popups, but its the bookmarkers that convert.

Just 4 months ago when I had a good percentage of bookmarkers I was getting about 25 signups a day on a variety of programs.. Now I get under 10.

If you let your bookmarkers get low enough and have no plan of correction your traffic will be next to drop.

It starts with a decrease in signups, then progresses to a serious traffic problem.

i know this first hand after not doing shit for the past 6 months.. I guess this was a study for me and now that I know how long my site can live without updating or having content its back to work for me.

Im actually suprised that my site still has traffic like it does being it is soo neglected, and lacks content.

Im looking forward to getting back into the game and bring shit back up to par.

Now that Im back into using blow I think I can get more work done and kick my gambling addiction and feed another.

Hmm, in my opinion bookmarkers are only good for traffic to tgp's but not for signups but i guess im wrong.

LOL read both angles here. Any traffic is good as long as you know what to do with it But as far as wasting bandwidth I disagree, you have to put thought in bookmarking as opposed to that "set your homepage" which is the ultimate waste of bandwidth

It is just like customer service in any other industry. If you go into a Macy's and don't buy anything, does that make you a freeloader?

How you are treated there determines if you are going to come back. I doubt most people say - "hey, I am going to go out today and buy me some porn."

They come to your site and find free stuff, the come back to your site if they like it. You have to remember, many people are very scared of hackers and the like. Many people are confused - you can be their guide...

Look at the Hun's site. It talks about a freaking teddy bear auction or something. I don't even know the story behind it, but is a guy that has a teddy bear auction gonna steer you wrong when you go for porn? NO!!

Why do you think the Hun takes sites without recips? Because he hates traffic? Because he doesn't need it? NO. Because he wants good stuff for his surfers and wants them to come back. They trust him. You think they are going to trust people that jerk them around?

How do you think The Hun got to 1,000,000 visitors a day? It sure the hell isn't his brilliant use of HTML (no offense if you read this). It is because it is simple, easy to use, and almost looks like a website written by a college professor.

Word of mouth, I remember when I first surfed for porn, where did I go - well I got jerked around a bunch, and then a friend told me about Persian Kitty. I always knew where to go from then on. There was enough there - that I never needed to go any place else.

Although, I didn't buy porn - I would have probably have bought from her. I didn't cost her that much in bandwidth.

It is your job to convince people that they need the "better porn" you can give them. Part of this is trust. Look at computer sites such as anadtech. He is like 16 (might be 17 now) and does well, because people trust him.

Look at Google - ever seen them advertise - they don't need to - their customers do it for them. Mark My Words, They will take over the Internet and in Two Years they will be the largest Internet company on earth with the possible exception of Amazon.

The best advertisement you can hope for is one from your customers. Treat people like you would want to be treated - they will come back - and buy from YOU.

funny, the guy that owns porno.com, sluts.com, and a bunch of other domains along that vein -- that he paid quite dearly for I might add -- says that he would much rather have 25k fresh typeins daily than many times that number of bookmarkers.

I know what he makes so I tend to believe the numbers.

Well no shit! Who wouldnt rather have a fresh type in?? But not everyone has a domain name like JJJ's does.

I had dinner with him in Vegas with my other buddies Mature-post and Sleazy dream and we were all in agreement about the bookmark issue. It was undisputed.

But naturally anyone would rather trade bookamrkers in for a fresh type in domain name in the browser.. But not everyone has a domain name like sex.com or pornno.com or adult.com so 99.9% of the sites out there simply dont get this kind of traffic..

The next best thing is traffic from people who have heard about your site and come in from word of mouth, or the bookmarkers who decide to come back because they remember the name of your site.. But no one is gunna just sit around and start typing in domain names at the top of their browser to see what comes up and result in landing on one of our sites.. Thats not realistic.

Saying that someone would rather have a fresh type in domain from a new person over a return surfer or bookmarker is like saying Id rather have a Rolls Royce over my Benz.

Well no shit! But most people dont have access to the Rolls, but the Benz sure is nice! Just like most people dont have access to a fresh type in, but the bookmarker or return customer sure is nice.
