Let's be honest and say that some girls do see it as a way of getting into a shooters good books and will fuck him to get more work. What they don't realise is the enormous costs we have for shooting and unless she sells we don't shoot her. However having consenting sex with a model brings you closer. She is looking into the lens of a guy/girl she is fucking.
Girls get horny when they are doing this work, turning them down can be a big put down and has to be done carefully.
The image that we force girls into having sex with us to get the work is stupid and shows how little those who believe it know about this business and shooting. I agree with a lot of what Paul says and it can be difficult at times...
Personally i like to keep business and pleasure as seperate issues, this may make me a bit boring but i always focus on the work and if i want to have some fun then this can be done elsewhere.
Having said that the one important point that Paul mentioned is that your reputation is everything and can cause problems when trying to book girls if you have a bad one..
Most of my friends have this crazy idea that:
1. I have the best job in the world..
2. I bang everything i shoot
3. The girls are easy because of the work they do.
All of the above is not true, well maybe number 1 is not too far out LOL, but seriously I approach the work in a professional manner and treat the girls with the same respect.
Almost all of the girls are not "easy" and are there to do a job..

I agree with Prague, and Mark. I've never done it either. I think that it is unethical, and unprofessional for starters.
But the biggest reason is your reputation. If you fuck over some girl, she will run her mouth, and ruin your reputation making it hard to get more girls later. So it's not worth it when you do this full time. Especially if you are in a smaller town.

Personally I dont think its totally unprofessional, sometimes things just happen and if its consenting, well, its just one of those things.
There are enough people that fuck at the office etc, so this shouldnt be any different, at least you dont have to see each other every day after.
