It's just a glorified 'hip' Tablet PC.
As an avid Tablet PC user myself and working with a Tablet day in and day out, the smallest screen I would go is 10inch. I work with a 12.1 inch right now, and it's perfect. I think the good thing about the Origami is that the marketing behind it will bring more public interest into the Tablet PC market. Most people don't think much about Tablet PC at this point. Hopefully Origami will help change that. It took my programmer to get me into Tablet's and it's completely changed the way I work and increased my efficiency all around.
On another note, before buying anything and spending your money on a gadget like the Origami, the biggest question to answer is what do you plan on using it for and how long are your 'work sessions' while using it.
With the amount of work I do away from the desktop, my Tablet had to be powerful and fast enough to be 100% mobile, but still light enough so I don't really notice it. And it's important that it's easy on the eyes as well (so not to cause eye strain).
For me, I wanted to update sites, edit sites, build sites, uploading content, edit content, maybe a bit of photoshop, etc etc. So Origami would not suit my needs. I'm sure I could make it work for me, but I know that after an hour with that screen and tiny ass pen, I would be frustrated and probably have a headache.
If you plan on doing minimal shit like spreadsheets, checking email on the fly, maybe a few uploads/downloads, listening to music, viewing boards, and just having something around that's 'connected', Origami might be your choice.
Anyway, just some info to keep in mind.

Yeah agreed, those things are only good for very basic use in limited situations. They are just like most PDA's. SLOW to input data, sure you can bring up a bunch of data but even writing simple emails is going to be 5 times slower cause of no keyboard.
