In California, you are required to have a Privacy Policy. If you don't specifically state what the uses will be for the personal info you receive, then you can't use it for any other purposes.
Anyway, most people in adult don't even seem to have correct info in their 2257 notice, so I'm fairly certain that most porn sites don't even try to comply...
For me, it's also an ethical issue. Do you like getting spam? If not, then why deal it onto others?

So, I'm guessing it's GGW, since I'm not sure who else is advertising on TV. If that's the case, then I'm not surprised, since there seems to be a near absence of ethics within that company, starting at the top.
