Petty Sponsor Gripes - Add yours.

Just a couple of pet peaves that drive me nuts as a webmaster:

Sponsors who don't seal their envelopes or their tri-fold perforated checks suck and come open in the mail.

Sponsor sites that use those page curl ads at the top of their site. What are we surfers?

Sponsors who email you links to all 942,000 new FHGs in an email. If you must email then just give us one link to your FHG page!

Is it just me? Add your petty gripes and you

Sponsors that don't pay and turn you into a collection agency

Sponsors that switch backends and BAM revshare members are poof! gone.

Sponsors who get carried away branding content with a domain that you don't get sales credit for promoting.

Yeah... then they act as though you're a dick for calling them on late payments.

        Oh... here's one.
Sponsors who post program announcements here on GFY but not on their own message boards or news blogs.

Sponsors that post your login info in their e-mails

Sponsors that change galleries without notifying you

Sponsors that redirect galleries without telling you

Sponsors that put CCBill in the link to the gallery itself, rather than in the hyperlinks in the gallery itself

Sponsors that send you the same e-mails every week without any changes

Sponsors that never update their RSS feeds. Either update them, or don't offer them

Sponsors that don't have identifying info on their checks/checkstubs

I forgot that one... that's the worst! How hard is it to add one line of text? It's cool to have a discreet company name, but how can I feel good about a sponsor who pays me via "Online Marketing, LLC" or "QFP" or whatever with no reference to what I signed up for.

Sponsors with no stubs are annoying too (AEBN).

                - putting some sex related name on the checks

                - letting domains expire without notifying affiliates

                - closing sites without notifying affiliates

                - redirecting galleries/sites without notifying affiliates

                - dont reply to any contact info, contact form, icq, email, ONLY reply to a simple affiliate need when it's made public on GFY

                - SPONSORS WHO PAY LATE OR DONT PAY AT ALL..........(this is about 50% of non ccbill sponsors)

hmmmm, many more to think of

                  Thought of another one:

Sponsors who see your awesome Google Adwords ratios then all of a sudden they're competing with you for the same keywords only they're promoting Free Trials to the same sites.

I almost want to name names here, but I suppose the ethics line is pretty hazy on this one.
