    One totally free domain registration through register.com

    I didn't see a thread for this yet, if there is plz ignore.

    If you don't have a registerfly.com account yet (I had one, then chose to reg my domain through gobluefly.com, so I have an account, but am not a client) just go through the signup procedure and then go back to the landing page.

                  Its legit, I'm not a register.com lackey or anything. I just haven't posted.

                  Though if you need some PHP coding or MySQL development, hit me up, I'm your guy. (Theres some spam ;)

                  They try to throw in some 9.99 domain protection or something, but just remove it from your cart so your balance is back to 0.00 and then checkout.

                          No its free, I just found it in my inbox this morning.

                          I think it had to do with the fact that I was a registered customer but I ditched the registration when I saw the thirty five dollar or whatever price tag attached to their domains now, and went to someone else. Probably a promo to bring back customers.

                                                  You did the right thing, noone sane in mind would register any domains with them. The free offer is nice, but doesn't change the fact that they are way too expensive...which would be ok if there wouldn't be other that are cheaper AND offer better service.
