I saw a interview last week,the studio said it didnt expect to make any money with this movie at the box office but said combined over time with dvd sales and later tv rights it would still be a good earning movie.
The bottom line now seems to be,its ok to make bad movies just keep the budget lowish and you will make $$$$ with all the different media sales.
