    Mt Dew in the laptop keyboard!

    The cat dumped over my Mt dew last night fishing out the ice cubes so it was mostly water with some pop. My laptop was open and off. The pop went right in the keyboard. It boots and seems normal but the keyboard and mouse pad area have shut off. Was working but noticed some moisture so used one of those spray cans to clean it and now no key board or mouse pad.

    Any ideas?

    Buy a new one?

    Take it apart?

          ah man that sucks atleast it didn't short everything our your definitely gonna need a new keyboard and mouse that shit is always somewhat pricy too

              get a new keyboard off ebay.. cost you 20-100 bucks

              ive been through 2 of em so far

                  If the keyboard is removable take it out of the laptop and as much apart as possible. If you can look through it and its just those mechanical x style keys then run warm water through it and then let it dry overnight. What model laptop is it?
