Piracy is rampant in Russia. I remember a huge electronics market in Saint Petersburg. They sell tons and tons of CD/DVDs. Costs $2 per DVD. Doesn't matter if there is $2 of content on there or $6000 of software on there. It costs $2. I remember a magazine there called "XAKER" (hacker) that had numerous articles on how to do things like brute force password hacking, how to find free porn, and lots of other things. Russian's aren't used to paying for porn and it's doubtful they will.
I would say that if/when China opens it will be a huge market.
