It was funny, once it was posted that he was K-rock, and I asked him on ICQ where he was from and his name, he says he was from Ohio and name was Rodney. When asked when he moved from Inidana to Ohio, he replied a month ago and vanished into thin air again.

Watch out for him, he'll be back under a whole new nick before too long, they always are.

So far, we have Rodney from Indiana, posting as Bushmasters, Hilldale, K-rock and now this one. It's been going on for many years and it isn't about to stop now!!

You see? K-rock burned some people on TRAFFIC deals many years ago, was his MO, give a sob story, take the money and vanish for a bit. THEN now, and no telling how long this has been going on, he posted as Hilldale, telling me he was raising money for surgery on his arm, name was Rod from Indiana. Then it was Bushmasters doing TRAFFIC deals once again, giving more sob stories about needing money for some other surgery, and now THIS, posting as nacworker, telling me on ICQ AS K-ROCK, that he is using this new nick now.....

He told me that he was using this new nick since he started his print company, yeah, very likely.

HILLDALE told me on ICQ awhile back that he has known me forever, but when asked, he didn't post on boards, only read them. Well I thought this was a bit weird, but he said he knew me from AWI, WHICH is where he posted as K-rock, and of course he knew me well, he was who replaced me, one of FIVE when I was let go from PIBCash (as K-rock), so of course he knows me!! Only was from Indiana then, a search on AWI will tell ya all of this. When I asked, like I said, where he was and he said Ohio, that's when it hit me what was going on here.

So I asked him right up front... and he vanished and stopped bumping THIS thread, only to post another about a laptop, and was keeping up with that one until I posted a link to here from there and then he stopped responding on that one too.

Do your homework on this, you will see a pattern, and a strong one.

I hope to god I am wrong and people aren't as inhumane as this, but my gut tells me I am not, and I pray that I am. If I am wrong I will say I am wrong, but too many coincidences and M.O.s for me.

That's about it in a nutshell.

i'd rather help someone locally then someone begging on the internet, thousands of people in need, look at home first.

Its nothing new, but stuff like this is what ruins things for people who could genuinely use a bit of help when bad circumstances happen.

And then others wonder why many of us are so suspicious, apathetic or downright dismissive to cries of 'help me...help me.'

EXACTLY, it's so hard to tell who is genuine and who isn't. I know several of my friends have needed help over the years, hell, I have needed help myself at points. BUT when it comes to people like this, it makes it hard unless you know them extremely well.

Wiggles, I couldn't agree more. In this case here, even given the REAL story, I find it hard to feel for anyone but that baby that died simply because they were told to get out and they had a drug lab in their home.. WITH A BABY!!!!! Why in the hell would I want to help these people? The baby yes, but not these others. I am sorry, I know this sounds horrible of me, but they are adults and sometimes when you play with fire, you get burned, I just feel for that baby!!
