yeah they are bringing Dallas to the big screen.

jesus was that show huge when i was a kid - the world stopped when it was on - everybody watched it. that was the cool thing about the days before the big explosion of cable - everybody watched the same TV shows so the next day you'd go to school or work and everyone would be talking about the same shit.

I can see Travolta playing this role, he has definitely shown versatility in all the roles he has had...

First I've heard of the big screen version, will have to watch for old time's sake.

I think it will work out because Luke Wilson is no better without any big star with him in a movie.
