    Paris Hilton in her new car McLauren SLR!! PiX!

    I just had to share this, pics of my favourite celeb Paris driving her new 450k Mercedes. She's one lucky girl!!!!!!
    I wish I was her!

    Here's Paris at The Ivy on Robertson Blvd., with Nicky, mom Kathy and Aunt Kyle. Sources say that Paris traded in her Bentley Continental GT for this new Mercedes McLauren SLR







    She looks good, I adore her! I know a lot of people don't give a fuck, but I just felt like I had to post it, I can't help myself.

She has never earned ANYTHING that I am aware of. Everything that she has and EVERYTHING that she is, is based on something that her grandfather did. She made $7M last year? For a celebrity that isn't shit. She probably makes at least that much every year in interest off of her inheritance alone. And just how does she make her money? By people paying her to show up at their parties. That is SOOOOOOOO sad. Sorry, but I do not give celebrities an elevated status just because they are celebrities. However, at least most celebrities have worked to become a celebrity by using some sort of talent. What was Paris Hilton's talent? Being the grand-daughter of Conrad Hilton. She can't act and she can't sing, but since her last name is Hilton, she is something special? She is nothing more than a media-craving attention whore in my opinion. It's not hating; she has done nothing to earn my respect or adoration and therefor she is a nothing to me.

But phogirl has posted several times about wanting to be famous and admired by all. Not that I personally care, but I find it sort of sad. People have different values, and I'm sure my values are considered ridiculous by many, but I can't stress enough how much I hate the concept of 'celebrity' and more so the people who look up to them.

                                                                                                                              The other thing I 100% agree with you is the status of paris hilton, she's not an actor, a singer, or have any talent. Her occupation is 'celebrity'. Worthless. I'd rather look up to someone who made a million in hard work and keeps it quiet, that someone who inherited gazillion bucks and spends it without any clue what money is worth. Sadly MTV has made people think that it's normal to live in mansions and drive 7 cars and have all sorts of toys. I'm amazed if the suicide rates in the US aren't going up soon when the MTV generation grow up and find out that their lives aren't what they thought they'll be.
