Its just because they are truely the 'rebellious teen' trying to 'get back at their parents', or it was an experiment or a dare... or the real girl-next-door one time thing.
they are very happy with the shoot at the time, but after the realization of what they are going to have to do with their lives to actually get really rich... the dream loses the sheen, and they quickly get married and have a baby, never to shoot again. And praying the grandparents don't find out
