advice needed - shooting own content

I want to start shooting my own content, nothing too professional, just Amature.
Can someone please give me advice on shooting own content?

What are the legal issues? do i just need 2 pieces of state id stating they are 18+? and a model's release form? where can i get that form?

Where kind of questions do you ask the models in the interview?
Would it be ok to shoot in a motel/hotel?

How did you guys learn all about it?
Is there some links about explaining how to shoot your own content? Or how can i learn more about it? hire professionals and watch how they do it? or like did you guys learn from reading books or internet resources?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Learn to spell Amateur first and go from there.

I spelled it wrong too at first. LOL. That's why I know!

Take lots of photos/video before you start. Pets, family, trees, whatever so you can learn and make mistakes before you are wasting money on models.

              I live in NYC.

i will not recruit Models on the streets. I will do it online through a website. I am focusing on Girl On Girl Softcore Non-Nude, but once in a while have a tit slip here and there, so there is no sex, just kissing, touching etc... So am i ok? this is not pandering right?

So basically i need to learn all about 2257, Model release form, make sure they have 2 State ids stating they are 18+...is there anything else?

i tried google didnt find much, probably not searching the right keywords...i wish they had a tutorial on how to shoot content and the laws...

I dont want to break any laws when interviewing the models and also when shooting. so i want to know the right way of doing this.

if anyone who has knowledge in this field and can teach me all i need to know about this kind of stuff...hit me up...i'll pay for your time..

              Thanks

Depends on what your personality is like.
Ask the hotel manager or be very careful. They will throw you out.

                          Question
Hey Jim, I was thinking about starting a website for amateur porn. I would be charging a monthly fee to view the content. I know you are suppose to technically shoot all material in CA. I know alot of porn stars and sites do not follow this rule. so my question is is there anyway of finding out if your the scene has been filmed outside of CA and are the consequences serious. And as long as i get my people tested everyone month and have 2 proofs of identification stating that they are of age and have them sign there release form do i necessarily need a lawyer? Are there any other steps you would warn me of?

                          Answer
First off don’t confuse yourself by thinking the laws regarding Production outside of California are mealy a “technicality” because they most certainly are not. Yes it is a serious matter and yes it carries serious penalties. No matter how you twist it, production outside of the State of California is a crime.

How serious are the consequences if you are caught? Well, not real bad…IF you don’t mind being charged with a variety of felonies, forfeiture of all your production equipment, forfeiture of all money made from your previous productions, jail time for your performers, and spending at least the next couple of years in prison.

Is this really true? so basically shooting outside of CA is illegal?

what if im only shooting Girl On Girl Softcore Non-Nude, but once in a while have a tit slip here and there, so there is no sex, just kissing, touching etc... would this be ok? or is this illegal too?

Anytime you are contemplating doing something that may land you in prison always cover your ass. In this case cover it with a lawyer.
