    12-year-old girl arrested in rape case

    HARRINGTON, Del. -January 31, 2008 -- Harrington police have charged a 12-year-old girl with raping two small children.

    Police told WBOC-TV the girl was charged Wednesday with second-degree-rape and four counts of unlawful sexual contact.

    She allegedly performed sex acts on a five-year-old boy and six-year-old girl. The allegations are that she abused the children between June 1, 2007 and Jan. 18. Both victims were described by police as acquaintances.
