Uh... I'm trying to understand how a web site could see your MAC address? That information would be lost as soon as the packet leaves a LAN.
Assuming this isn't a joke
, it's possible that changing the MAC address caused your ADSL (?) ISP to assign you a new IP address... but MACs certainly don't get passed halfway around the world...
