By the way they should also learn from our failures. Black on black crimes are very high as well. The root of the issue is socio-economic cicumstance. The fact of the matter is that there is a high correlation between race of the population in depressed socio-economic areas. That is, minorities make up a greater percentage of the population in depressed areas. The solution lies in fixing these economic problems at the root and not turning into some upside down race issue.
Yet the idiot school board trustees seem to believe that violence at a school where the majority of the students are black happens because they are black, and not because it's a violent, poor neighbourhood. They think that black students are droppping out because they are black - not because they are afraid to leave their house for fear of getting shot or wondering if they are going to run into a gang.. or whether their mother can make the rent that month.
Sometimes I hate this friggin town.
