As I recall it was suggested a couple weeks ago that 5th is as good as 1st for him, so congrats, looks like he has another victory under his belt.
Ron Paul takes Florida

To be fair Ron Paul gets most of his support from Independents who were not allowed to vote in the Florida Primary and thus he has spent his time campaigning in the super Tuesday states.
The real shots should be at Rudy who spent all his time and money in FL and still came a very very distant 3rd and will leave the election process with 1 total delegate or 3 less than Ron Paul has currently.XXXRewards - Karups - Boyfun - Jawked. Yeah he bet the farm on Florida and underestimated the momentum that the previous primaries could bring the other candidates. He has basically been out of the discussion for almost a full month, never a good idea.To be fair Ron Paul gets most of his support from Independents who were not allowed to vote in the Florida Primary and thus he has spent his time campaigning in the super Tuesday states.

The results haven't come in from the Panhandle( the polls there close 1 hour later than the rest of the state ) which is very conservative. So Huckabbe could pass Rudy.To be fair Ron Paul gets most of his support from Independents who were not allowed to vote in the Florida Primary and thus he has spent his time campaigning in the super Tuesday states.

He would win every time if the evil media empire monopoly would give the 'round the clock, 24/7 nonstop coverage a top tier fringe candidate like Dr. Paul truly deserves.

Independents in California can only vote for Democrats in the Super Tuesday primary... So much for Ron Paul doing anything in Cali...Comment

And baddog, why do you have such a hard-on for Ron Paul? It's like you go out of your way to bash him... I don't get it...Comment

Baddog is just an annoying old fart. Look at his comments in any thread. He assumes because he is an 80 year old gay biker he knows how the entire world works, and no one else does. Look at his comments on Obama for example, he just flat out assumes stupid positions, which is most likely why in all his years he has never amounted to too much. And no, I am not a Ron Paul fanboy.ICQ: 637//961--015Comment

I would have thought he would be Fred, but no chance he would beat Rudy. 6 months ago I thought Rudy would be the next president. Things change fast in politics.Comment

No, I never thought Rudy or Fred stood a chance, just like I never thought Clinton or Obama will result in a win for the Democrats.Comment

Ok SOMEBODY has to win an election. There has to be a WINNER. You have told me who you thought WOULD NOT win. So I am asking you who you thought WOULD win.Comment

You obviously have comprehension issues when you get angry."No, I never thought Rudy or Fred stood a chance, just like I never thought Clinton or Obama will result in a win for the Democrats."

Let me type slower.
I never thought Fred, Rudy or Ron could win the Republican nomination.
I do not think Clinton or Obama can win the Presidency. One of them probably will win the Democratic nomination. I would rather see Edwards.
I think McCain will will the Republican nod, and he will win the Presidency if my prediction (above) comes true.Comment

interesting...
(CNN) -- Florida has often played an over-sized role in presidential politics -- for proof you need not look further than the 2000 presidential race.
