Through 90's it was hard time for all the Serbian people, it was hard with Milosevic's governement, he brought us several wars through that time and did only the crappiest stuff to Serbian nation and people. We could not hardly wait him to be taken down from the top of the authority and go to hell....yes that's true.
His biggest patriotism showed up when he arrived at the Hague. He was defending Serbian nation, he was represented Serbian nation at very true light, not at light that western media represented us!

Maybe because the US and NATO wanted to breakup Yugoslavia, and it was easier to do this by siding with the Croats and Muslims against the Serbs. Maybe it made sense to target the Serbs because they are historically pro Russian and a natural Russian ally in the Balkans that needed to be dealt with after the the breakup of the Soviet Union. How many NATO bases are there in the former Yugoslavia now?
