Mccain can go suck a fat one.

He should concentrate more on banning commercial wrestling. That fake shit is brain washing kids everyday.

Just going by that article, is it not just talking about when the UFC first started and there were no weight classes, or really many rules at all to speak of? As cool and entertaining as that was, it was certainly an accident waiting to happen. Especially when they used to have 500 lb guys fighting guys that were 175 lbs with no gloves. I loved that stuff, but I can see why it would get some people riled up due to safety issues.

I'd be surprised if he still has any intentions of shutting it down now that they have gone legit. It's no different than pro boxing now.

So now hes worried about violence?
Are we talking about the guy who supports staying in a VERY VIOLENT war?
          Nice try.

Huh? I don't know what he's worried about and don't really care.

I just remember there was a lot of uproar back before the UFC went "legit". A lot of people wanted it shut down, and even I will admit it had the potential to be pretty dangerous. They really had no choice to lay down some rules unless they wanted to make it totally underground.

I wasn't "trying" anything. I don't give a shit about McCain or Ron Paul, I live in the land of igloos, maple syrup and Trailer Park Boys.

You guys got it all wrong - what John McCain meant was that he could kick anyone's ass in the MMA and UFC, and that he was gonna beat them down in the ring/octagon and take their belts...

You can tell someone is worried. So, barring Paul, who would you recommend for the Republican nod?

Who said you have to vote for a Republican candidate. I dont settle for a shitty candidate just because I belong to a single party. That would be idiotic IMO. I would rather have Obama than any other GOP flake, but thats a catch 22, because Mccain will beat Obama if thats the way it goes. Im thinking Mccain has is it in the bag. Look who Charlie Christ called the next President tonight. That should give you a big clue who is going to win.

Read the fucking question idiot. You told me you are a Republican. The Republicans will nominate someone to run. Who do you think it should be, if not Paul (since he will not get it).

And Charlie Christ? you mean Crist? So what? Did you think Guiliani stood a chance?

I read your question dip shit, but I figure you would get it that I dont think any of them sham artists deserve the nod over any other. But since you asked, I would love for Huckabee to get the nod because that would gaurantee that the Obama or Clinton would win, which both are by far better alternatives than the garbage the Republicans are running. Other than Paul there are no real conservatives, and despite my service, I do not beleive in sensless war that ruins our economy as well as our standing with the rest of the world.
