A 357 on a 44 frame is a great combo.

It's a bit heavier than a standard 357 but the benefit is it has the kick of a 22 with the extra body weight so extended shooting time isn't stressful on the wrists at all and the reduced "barrel bounce" seems to help on a more control shooting pattern (and get a good set of sound reducing ear plugs).
