Ok, this is going to piss off alot of people..... but maybe the smart ones will understand where I am coming from.
My sister died of ovarian cancer at 27.
She didnt take her own life.
Alot of these "performers" cant handle the stigma that gets attached to them from this business. Is it any surprise that another starlet is chewed up and spit out by the industry? She joins a long list of pretty ladies who have committed suicide or just plain lived on the edge that they got too close to it and fell off.
Its sad that this latest girl is gone..but after seeing the look in my sisters eyes as she laid on her death bed, I have little sympathy for those who commit suicide, when all my sister wanted to do was live.Comment

By the way... I got a letter in the mail yesterday and seen my sisters granddaughter for the first time. She was just born a few days ago.
I nearly broke down and cried, but held back my emotions. She was now a grandmother. She loved her kids, they were everything to her. I can only imagine how proud she would be to have been able to see her grandchild.

thinking about my sister, has got me a little emotional now, and just keep hearing the that song in my head. It has brought back memoriesand maybe I can describe the look in my sisters eyes a litte better.
When she was laying in her hospital bed, she would look at me sometimes, and stare into my eyes, and I could almost hear what she was saying to me in her mind.
She was saying "Do you know Im going to die" "why is this happening to me?"
But she nenver came out and said those things to me... I could see it in her eyes. Her eyes seem to beg for help, but at the same time, they were saying goodbye.Comment

Y'know if we probably made a list of porn performers who committed suicide in ratio to those that didn't we'd probably find it's far less than 1%. Far lower than any other occupation. Cops, military, lawyers, doctors, real estate... Probably pound for pound the casualty rate in porn may be far lower but we'll never know without statistics. Only in porn does it get blasted over the news as some sort of standard. We need to look closely to this case with respect and get feedback from present and past performers and see if there is a problem.Comment
