Wow, there are more billionaires being made every day. Some of these people do not deserve to have a billion dollars. Only I deserve to have billions of dollars.

Maybe if I act like a complete fucking fool and cause enough idiotic controversy I too can elevate myself to that rank of the wealthiest in the world.

I can do it. I have the talent and personality and bad hair.

the walmart folk still have the most combined. warren buffet seems higher than before.

did you know he still lives in his first house? never went all out and bought and mansion or anything. the man is a genius. i remember readinga story about a couple who died not to long ago. they left 800 million dollars to a school. no one knew they had it. apparently warren buffet was a friend and had them invest a small amount in stock of a company he bought. their share prices by the time of death had increased beyond belief.

Warren Buffett and Bill Gates are so rich they can't let the same sunshine hit them that hits us. Both are married guys I believe and don't whore around. It might be that way with the majority of people on the list. Religious folks who keep their money safe.

When you look at the list you'll notice some mavericks who made it on their own. Others got there from a big help of inheritance and work, others just plain inheritance.

Don't think you can't spend a billion dollars! All it takes is some insanity and there's alot to go around.

What amazes me is Martha Stewart. That shows that you can make a fortune by just making stuff. Oprah got on that list just from having a personality and talent. It's amazing.

What also surprises me is that the majority of these people, 4 or 5 of them now live in my hometown, are unknown to the average person. There was a time when a person having a billion dollars was world wide celebrity. Now it's getting so common we don't care. Overall it's still such a small percentage of the global population it probably doesn't even rate. Look at the number of millionaires however and then you get a much bigger picture of the spread of wealth.
