Seems risky as it appears good ol gfy came through and instigated his action. I guess as Fletch said, if they are active here and their reputation is on the line then maybe you at least have a safety net. Just curious, did you offer to only pay him half up front and then the other half after he completed the work within the time sensitive frame?
