                                                  there is a car show in oldtown where I live all the guys with fbodys/old vettes.

                                                  More like a gathering not "official" kinda like how they also have hot rod meets at dennys sometimes.


                                                  If you have rice/mods in the car you are not welcome. Car has to be stock/show room condition to get in and get any respect at all.

                                                              I still want to get one of the last 2002s with ram air. Maybe they are typical of white trash, but that is part of the fun.

                                                              300+ horsepower and RWD for a cheap price is OK in my books.

                                                                                                                                              it is not cheap trash it is a very rare car that few were produced and in 15 years most will have been beaten inot the ground and original powerplants blown, or replaced


                                                                                                                                              this car with under 30k miles will be worth 40k in 10 years

                                                                                                                                              a 69 SS camaro original with less than 30k in 89 was worth 25-30k

                                                                                                                                              the car was discontinued and the revival run will be short lived....the camaro is now gone and the SS WILL appreciate
