I go to look for something and they never have anything I want or need right there, I wast so much time looking for what I want that it's just not worth looking for. I miss NJ they had good news websites. Do you're local news sites do that?

I don't pay attention to local news. The only news sites I visit are news.google.com, news.yahoo.com, and atimes.com for my completely unbiased fair AND balanced international news. Sometimes I find myself watching CNN Online videos.
The other reason why I don't pay attention to local news is because they never cover shit I actually want to hear about, only crap about old ladies, cats in trees, the dangers of internet addiction, why you should be afraid to meet anyone online, etc... and shit I don't even want to think about. Now if my local news covered stuff such as the 10 car pileup that happens down the street where I see 10 ambulances flying down the road... now THEN I might actually tune in. But for some reason that stuff never gets even a whisper of coverage. -
We had a Sharriff that turned out to be the bigest drug dealer in town.
He didn't get any jail time but his men did of course, he had a show on Court TV but that was pulled and he's doing a new show about smugglers and moonshine. Back in the day there was a lot of moonshine mad right here in NC. I thought it would be something interesting but I was sleeping with the news on so I missed it.

Give HeadlineSpot a looksee, it did wonders in my old media monitoring days, also take a good look at Google News and the option(s) to have news articles under certain keywords mailed to you, now scratches at least an hour a day for seaching for news.
