But I think that even if one cheats it doesn't always mean they're not happy or that they don't love their spouse. It's just the "other" factor and immediate physical gratification for something novel. I'm sure there are a lot of guys who are happily married in the sense that they would never want to trade in their wife for the woman on the side - the woman on the side is just a 'bonus'.

If you enjoy someone's personality and everything that goes along with them, the physical attraction etc, there's nothing wrong with making a commitment to spend the rest of your life together.
