Hoes.com Sponsor Stats For February 2006

Hello all,

Go inside and check out why my conversion ratios are so shitty looking.

;-)

Another fairly consistant month with a couple of surprises to the upside. Traffic totals and quality were consistant to the month before so it's neat to see the sponsors that tracked a pattern similar to January's results. Those are the sponsors to stick with as long as the pattern is a decent one.

Here is what this is all about for those of you who haven't seen our thread before:

Because we advertise so many sites across so many niches using so many sponsors, the many webmasters who submit to us daily tend to ask who we recommend for reliability and conversion success.

Instead of just posting links to a few of our favorites, we decided to compile our stats from month to month and post them for all to see. Basically, we offer a ranking of the top 20 or so sponsors that converted for us during the month.

We update this every month and hope that it helps a few of you to make an educated decision about which sponsors to advertise.

why dont you remove some of the bad converting sponsors and toss us in the mix?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I think its a little misleading to trust StatsRemote numbers for the number of uniques. Like your top 3 sponsors don't track first page uniques but yet in StatsRemote the number they report are based on 2nd page uniques. So of course these 3 sponsors will always outweigh any sponsor who is reporting first page uniques. Although this may be hard to do, it would be great to split your sponsors who are reporting 1st and 2nd page uniques as these are different ballparks.

I'm hoping those of you who have been following these stats for a while have noticed that my conversion ratios aren't that good overall. You would think that with the amount of quality traffic I hammer at these programs every day that I'd have tons of 1:200 converters in the list. Well, let me say it loud and clear... As long as a program is counting hits correctly, namely first page uniques, you won't see average ratios even close to what they typically advertise.

I intended to ask something a few months ago, the first time I looked at your stats. Namely, why no mention of DeluxePass?

Your pages have quite a few DP links in there with the other sponsors you do mention (I see some PornAccess links too now). So do they perform badly for you, or...?

marc, your clickcash ads are doing awesome considering...

Is the only place you use clickcash is on your webcams page?

I am not trying to insult you but linking directly to ifriends like that is the absolute worst way to convert with them from my experience. I think you could be doing a lot better conversions wise and making a lot more money. Would you be willing to lease your clickcash spots to me?. I am confident I can covert with my ads about 2 times as good as what you are currently doing. Please let me know.

It seems I get this comment each month... and my typical reply is that no one should focus only on the unique ratio. I try to provide other information most namely the "traffic rank" to help people understand which sponsors are important to me. Important = $

I tried in the past to streamline and highlight which program tracks which way and it was a disaster, so I gave up.

My stats may help some and not others.

ah that would explain it, i never had success with text links like that tossing them into the website. I didnt see the other ads, but i didnt search too hard, going to look now to see what you are using to promote them.

Good question... I didn't list them because I lump them in with ccbill as a big mix of sites.

Probably a mistake now that I think of it...

I do very well with Deluxepass, so-so with Pornaccess. Maybe I'll get some numbers together next month.

Talking about geo ads, why don't you try SpaCash? They have banners and sites geo targetted in 8 (or more) languages and they have lots of niches. Did you ever tried this sponsor?
